COVID-19 Office Protocols & Procedures For Tattoo Removal Appointments
For All Clients
To reduce risk of COVID-19 the team at GO! Tattoo Removal have implemented a set of protocols that we ask you to follow:
-
A mask is required to enter the building and office, it must remain on covering your nose and mouth during the entire appointment
-
Come to the appointment alone (friend, ride, family must wait in their car or in the main building lobby)
-
Do not enter more than 5 minutes before your appointment time – if you arrive extremely early call from the parking lot to see if we can take you earlier
-
If you’re due to arrive more than 10 minutes late the appointment may need to be rescheduled – please check your GPS and call the office in the event of a potential late arrival
-
No outside food or beverages in our office
-
Please refrain from bringing excessive bags / things in with you
-
Call our office if you have potentially been exposed, are awaiting test results or feel unwell to reschedule
Our office operates on a 1:1 client ratio. We’ve always been an appointment only office and will continue this way, please schedule online. Consultations can be done to some extent over the phone and we provide in-depth information about tattoo removal and our pricing online.
Effectively immediately, we ask all clients to follow the protocols outlined to ensure the lowest possible risk while in our office for treatment.
If the client has any new symptoms of a dry cough, fever, and or shortness of breath we will ask the client to not come into our office and contact their physician for COVID-19 screening.
Any patients who have been tested positive for COVID-19 we ask that they not come into the office until they are cleared by their physician. If they have symptoms but their physician did not order a COVID-19 test they must be symptom free for 14 days before they can resume tattoo removal treatment.
Appointments
Please do not come into the office more than 5 minutes before your appointment time. This will ensure staff have enough time to finish the previous client and thoroughly clean between appointments.
Should you be running late, please call and talk to a staff member. If the arrival time is to be more than 10 minutes past the time of scheduled appointment, your appointment may need to be rescheduled for later that day or another day.
We ask you to come alone to the appointment. Many of you drive a considerable distance or need someone for moral support. In order to keep a safe environment for all, we’re asking for this temporary consideration. If you make the drive with someone, we ask they remain in the car during your treatment. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis, please call the office at least 1-day prior to your appointment to discuss your situation. Note, we will not allow anyone in the treatment room except for the client for the time being.
Entering The Office
The professional building we are in requires masks to enter. Please do not remove the mask at any time.
There are two stairwells, one is labeled for up and the other is for down, please use the proper one when coming up to our office and leaving. The property managers have asked that no more than 2 people ride in the elevators at a time should you not want to take the stairs.
You will be asked a few questions upon arrival as a screening assessment.
It’s advised to eat at least a few hours prior to an appointment, it’s always important to be properly hydrated. Please continue to do this. The water cooler in our office is temporarily unavailable.
No outside food or beverages will be allowed in the office. Please do not bring any extra bags, accessories or belongings into the office either.
Practice proper hygiene, wear clean clothing, keep layers to a minimum if possible. Utilize the coat rack, do not place your coat on any furniture or chairs.
A mask will be required during the entire time of the office visit and it must cover your nose and mouth. Please do not touch it or remove it.
A bin will be provided for all personal belongings, including cell phones and purses to go into. Please leave all personal belongings in the bin until the treatment is over.
Treatment
Only the client will be allowed in the treatment room. If a change of clothing is required to do the treatment, we ask you bring the change of clothing in a clean plastic bag.
Please follow the guidance by the staff member as to how to sit or lay on our treatment chair or when using an arm rest. A staff member will also instruct you when to get up from the chair.
Payment
Our office has been set up for years to accept Apple Pay, Google Pay and contactless credit cards. We strongly encourage you to use these forms of payment in the office. Traditional credit cards and cash will be accepted but in an effort to reduce hand-to-hand contact, we’d prefer the contactless payment. Treatments may also be prepaid by purchasing gift cards online.
Cleaning
We have prided ourselves in the standard of cleanliness the office is kept since opening in 2012. We have and will continue to use hospital grade germicides and cleaners on every hard surface in the office and do not have any porous or fabric surfaces. Between every client and at the end of the day our office has always been thoroughly sanitized and this will continue to our routine.
Staff
All staff have their temperatures checked prior to a shift and are required to stay at home if they have a cough, respiratory problems or are feeling sick. They will be wearing a mask during consultations, gloves and safety glasses during treatments.
